Hubert Cueto - 2024 QCH Excellence Award for Respect

The QCH Excellence Award for Respect is presented to a person who promotes respectful behaviour and fosters the inclusion of culturally and socially diverse peoples.

The award recipient:

• Treats people with respect.

• Fosters a caring environment in which everyone feels valued.

• Shows respect for people’s values, culture, choices, and decisions.

Hubert works in our rehab department and is the recipient of this year’s Respect Award. He is a “bright light” to those around him. Kind and generous, he makes everyone feel welcome through his calm demeanour and positive attitude. He offers a caring word to everyone he meets, and a listening ear during stressful times. He truly lives the adage “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”
