Luz Masibag - 2024 QCH Excellence Award for Accountability

The QCH Excellence Award for Accountability is presented to someone who promotes a culture of accountability that fosters transparency, honesty, and responsibility. All our nominees for this award demonstrate accountability for their actions, decisions, and behaviours. They also positively influence others.

Luz is an Administrative Control Clerk and recipient of the 2024 QCH Excellence Award for Accountability. Luz takes real pride in her role – taking absolute ownership of her duties and completing tasks without being asked. She always follows up. She always delivers on time. Luz is recognized for her dedication and thoroughness.

She also helps others be accountable – making sure everyone is aware of new policies and procedures. She was an Accreditation Superstar – memorizing every weekly mission sheet so she could answer any question that would come up or complete any roadblock. Her team joked that she could probably take on any job in the hospital – she has such a detailed knowledge of all the ROPs!
