Celebrating our Amazing Volunteers!

Happy National Volunteer Week!

We are happy to welcome National Volunteer Week and the opportunity to recognize our wonderful volunteers. The theme this year is “Volunteering Weaves us Together.”  This acknowledges how important our volunteers are as a vital part of an interconnected team at QCH.

Your ongoing support of our patients, visitors, and our teams, make all the difference to the work we can do for our community!

Yesterday, in a special IN-PERSON recognition event, we celebrated over 100 volunteers! These extraordinary individuals were honoured for their commitment to QCH and their many years of service. Some of them have contributed over 100 hours to our hospital!

If you’ve not already done so, please thank a Volunteer for their service the next time you see one.

Check out some of the recognition recipients and photos from the event below!
